You Still Feel Like You. Your Body Just Doesn't Feel Like It.

This Is Your Midlife Wake-Up Call.

A woman with long brown hair sitting on a bed with a distressed expression, holding her head, with a broken mirror in the foreground. A man with dark hair and a beard, wearing a white shirt, is sitting on the bed in the background, turned away from the woman.

You know something has changed.

Your patience isn't what it used to be. Your energy disappears before the day is over. You can't remember why you walked into the room. Sleep isn't restoring you the way it once did. And even your relationship with your own body feels different.

Everyone seems to have an explanation: "It's just aging."

But what if there's more to the story?

You deserve to understand what is happening and have someone help you navigate it.

That's where Maze Wellness begins.

Myth: Think It’s “Just Hormones”? Think Again.

Truth: Hormones matter—but so do the systems that support them. Chronic stress, inflammation, nutrient gaps, poor sleep, and metabolic health can all play a role in how you feel. Your symptoms deserve more than a one-size-fits-all explanation.

Myth: Medication is the whole answer.

Truth: For some women, medication can play an important role in symptom management. But hormones and overall well-being are influenced by many interconnected systems, including sleep, digestion, nutrition, stress, and metabolic health. A whole-body approach can help uncover additional factors contributing to how you feel.

Myth: Low libido is simply part of aging.

Truth: Your desire can change, but it doesn’t have to disappear. Hormonal shifts, chronic stress, sleep issues, metabolic health, and thyroid function may all play a role. Instead of accepting low libido as your new normal, look deeper into what your body is telling you.

Myth:The answer is simply getting more sleep.

Truth: Quality matters just as much as quantity. When stress, blood sugar fluctuations, or disrupted cortisol rhythms interfere with your sleep, adding another hour in bed may not solve the problem. Sometimes, you have to look at what’s disrupting your sleep in the first place.

Your Labs Are “Normal.” So Why Don't You Feel Normal?

There May Be More to the Story.

You did what you were supposed to do. You made the appointment. You had your bloodwork done. And then you heard those familiar words:

“Everything looks normal.”

But you're still tired. You're struggling to sleep. Your body feels different. Your focus isn't what it used to be. And you're wondering if this is simply something you're expected to accept as you get older.

At Maze Wellness, we don't stop at one lab result or one symptom.

We look at the bigger picture—your hormones, metabolic health, nutrition, stress, sleep, gut health, and lifestyle—to help connect the dots.

Because your health is more than a number on a lab report.

About Glennise

Helping Women Feel Like Themselves Again

I’m Glennise Pratt, DMSc, PA-C, a Physician Associate and the founder of Maze Wellness.

For years, I worked in fast-paced traditional healthcare settings where there was often only enough time to identify the problem, treat the symptom, and move on to the next patient. I cared deeply about the people sitting in front of me, but I began to realize how often patients were leaving appointments with more questions than answers.

Especially women in their 40s and 50s.

Women who suddenly didn't recognize their bodies.

Women who were exhausted despite getting enough sleep.

Women struggling with brain fog, changes in weight, mood shifts, poor sleep, or a decrease in libido.

Women who were told their labs were "normal" and that what they were experiencing was simply part of getting older.

I didn't believe that was the end of the conversation.

That realization led me toward functional wellness and a different way of looking at health.

Instead of asking only, "What symptom are we treating?" I began asking, "What else could be contributing to how this woman is feeling?"

Hormones matter. But so do sleep, nutrition, stress, metabolic health, gut health, inflammation, lifestyle, and the many changes that happen during midlife.

That's the philosophy behind Maze Wellness.

I created Maze Wellness to give women a place where they can slow down, be heard, ask questions, and take a more comprehensive look at their health.

My goal isn't to tell you that something is wrong with you.

My goal is to help you understand your body and give you the information, guidance, and support you need to make informed decisions about your health.

Because I don't believe women should have to choose between being dismissed and simply learning to live with symptoms.

And sometimes, finding your way through that transition can feel like navigating a maze.

That's where the name Maze Wellness comes from.
